A safer way to discuss documents with AI

Anondo replaces names, identity codes and other identifiers with tags before the text goes to the AI – in contracts, memos and other client documents. Your original text never reaches a third-party AI. Works in Word.

  • Your original text never reaches a third-party AI

Identifiers are replaced on Anondo's own server. You copy only the tagged version into your AI tool.

  • Processed in Finland

On Anondo's own cloud server in Helsinki.

  • Text is not stored

Not in a database, on disk or in logs.

  • Built for Finnish identifiers

Identity codes, phone numbers, IBANs and business IDs (Y-tunnus).

  • Review before use

You see every change before you copy it.

  • Your text stays as it is

Anondo doesn't replace text in your document unless you choose to.

Your employees are already using AI. The question is what data goes with it.

Across Europe, around four in ten employees who use AI at work say they have used it in ways that go against workplace policies — 41% in Germany, 40% in Sweden. Even in Finland, it's one in four. Meanwhile, only 23% of German companies have rules for AI use.

The GDPR requires that personal data is not processed more than the purpose needs. When you ask an AI about the terms of a contract, for example, it doesn't need the client's name or identity code.

The example text is made up, and it is in Finnish because Anondo is built for Finnish text. The text under “After Anondo” is Anondo's actual output. The same person gets the same tag throughout, so the context stays understandable to the AI.

Then you discuss it with the AI

What should I check before replying to [PERSON_1]?

AI

Check the lease's deposit clause: on what grounds the landlord may withhold the deposit, and by when it must be returned. Also make sure [PERSON_2] sends the lease and the bank statements by Friday.

You act on your original document. The AI only saw the tagged version.

Three steps in Word

  1. Select the text. Highlight the part of your Word document you want to discuss.

  2. Review the changes. You see every replacement, and the key shows what each tag, such as [PERSON_1], stands for.

  3. Copy it to your AI tool and discuss. Your document's text stays as it is. If you like, you can also replace the identifiers with tags directly in the document.

Where your text goes

The text is processed in Anondo's service in Finland. It is not stored in a database, on disk or in logs. Like any web server, the service keeps a technical log of requests (IP address, time and response code) for 14 days. About the text itself, it records only the timestamp, the character count, the processing time and the number of identifiers found.

Anondo detects names and identifiers with a recognisable format, such as identity codes and IBANs. It does not detect information that can only be inferred from context, such as a rare profession or role. Automatic detection can also miss something. That is why it's worth reviewing the changes before you copy the text.

Anondo protects the text you take from your document. Names you type into the AI conversation yourself are not protected.

In short: where your text is processed, and that it isn't stored, is up to Anondo. Checking the replacements, and what you type into the AI, is up to you.

We're looking for a few organisations to try Anondo

  1. A 20-minute demo, remote, with a sample document.

  2. A pilot in your own team, if Anondo suits you. The pilot starts with a data processing agreement that we make together with your organisation. It also lists our sub-processors.

  3. Feedback on what works and what's missing.
